Black Rhino At Ol Pejeta
This was a somewhat unique interaction between an adult white rhino and two young rhinos, one white and one back. It appeared that the adult white rhino and the young black rhino were rubbing horns affectionately. This image was taken at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya.
White Rhino at Ol Pejeta
On the way back to camp in Ol Pejeta it got dark. My group came across a long line of cape buffalo heading for water. We had two jeeps that we arranged in an “L” configuration so we could take turns spot lighting and get some side lit night shots of the buffalo.
A herd of Rothchild’s giraffes were introduced to Lake Nakuru in 1977. The park is one of the few places that you can see this subspecies of giraffe in the wild. The forested area of Lake Nakuru National Park makes a nice backdrop when photographing this beautiful subspecies of giraffe.
